I bought one of these watches over a year ago and I have to say that for the price, I am very impressed with this piece. It works perfectly and I have not had a single problem with my watch. I use it daily and like it very much.

Got it as a gift. Cool watch but after a couple of months I couldn't set the date any more. Crown mechanism and wrist band feel very cheap. No wonder the KGB went belly up...

Got my Komandirskie Submarine and Vostok Military today. So far, so good. They look good, seem to work well, and delivery was prompt. The guys at "The Company" even called me, took 3 tries, to iron out a minor problem with my order. Very good value and unique. I wish I'd had 1 of these when I was chasing Russian submarines around the North Atlantic!

Bought this watch for 200 CFA while on MercOps in the lower Congo. It's rugged, accurate, watertight, and as far as I'm concerned, battle proven. It's held up well in both jungle and desert environments. Used by many soldiers in the French Army, this watch comes highly recommended for safari, combat, SAR, and espionage operations.

Just received my RussArmy black dial. Super service. 3 day delivery as ordered. The watch is sturdy and totally seviceable. Been wearing it for a day or so and hasn't lost any noticeable time. Only one complaint; no directions for link removal...band is excessively long. Overall, a fine watch for the price.

It's a baaaadd-assed watch. Lifted it off a stiff in a gutter in the South Bronx. Keeps fine time. Leather band a little raggad, maybe due to it being blood soaked.
Good ghetto timepiece; has held up well in many a mugging and gang banging. Maybe some day I'll buy one.

Got this one for a friend. I own the Orange with metal band and the Blue with leather band. He was so impressed and greatful. Frankly he thought I spent about six (6) times what I did. So easy to read with his bad eyes and, like mine< the time keeping is as good or better than any automatic around. Price, Quality, Image and nice people to deal with all at one TIME.

Owning the Orange CK-1 with the metal band, and feeling the band was "cheepish", I'm very happy with the leather clasp band on my new Blue CK-1. The general quality of the CK-1 line is nothing short of amazing. The blue color is different from other blue watches and quite striking and changes a bit under light changes. I'm so pleased I'm going to try other models.

Medium weight, not too heavy or too light. Accurate, snazzy, built for troops regularlly assigned to combat missions. These same watches sell in the U.K. for over a hundred pounds. Buy a few extra straps, as that seems to be the only part that needs replacement, but only after a year or so of rugged, wet jungle use. You'll be pleased with this watches fine looks, quality, and performance.

Rugged Band. Stainless steel; not solid brass as stated (shouldn't make any difference). Keeps excellent time as long as you don't take it off for more than a day. Extremly high quality; definitley built to last many years. Luminous hands blaze out in the dark; may actually need to be covered while on night patrol/recon. Good jungle watch; used mine extensively in streets of Harlem. A great watch at a great price.

I have had my orange CK-1 watch for several days now and am suprised at just how good it is. My only gripe is how dificult it is to shorten the metal band (a little cheepish). Time keeping is as good as any automatic watch I own and better than some. Already I have got comments on its looks and others seem interested in getting one. looks like I'll be adding more to my collection.

Rugged, finely tuned, unique design. Saw this exact timepiece on the streets of Dakar selling for USD 500!!! Widely used by French Foreign Legion commandoes throughout Africa, this watch has been battle tested in the most severe combat conditions. Rugged, built like the T-72! Keeps extremely accurate time. It's a heavy watch, one obviously designed for rugged men of war. Luminous hands can be easily read while in a firefight or while on night patrol. I use mine extensively for diving and while on patrol in mountains of Mindanao. Buy one; you won't regret it.

A very fine timepiece built to high military specifications. Keeps excellent time; keeps out water, and looks great. I prefer it over my costly Rolex watch because if I loose it I won't be out of a lot of money. Built like a Russian tank, you will treasure this watch for many years to come. I saw this exact watch being sold in France recently for around $450.00. It's heavy, accurate, water-tight, and built as well as any high-end Swiss watch. I'm very happy with mine and highly recommend you buy one before they're listed as so many other Russian watches, specifically as "sold out." You won't be disappointed with this fine timepiece.

I prefer this watch over my expensive Breitling. Same quality as a Breitling, just less expensive and looks different. Highly recommend this watch for casual wear or while on safari.
