Our Sales Policies

1) Payment Options

We at RussArmy.com currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We also accept payments as wire transfer, money order, and certified checks (click "CONTACT" button for address information). You can submit your order by phone, fax, or over the Internet

2) Shipping Information

RussArmy.com uses UPS for domestic and EMS for worldwide shipping. UPS will provide delivery prices depending on customer's choice of delivery service.

3) Customs and Duties for International Sales

The watches are shipped free of sales and export taxes on our side. You should check with your Customs and find out what duties, if any, you will have to pay. After you have the facts please advise us what value we should put on the customs form. If you require the watch to be sent as a gift or sample of merchandise, we can accommodate you. All customs fees and duties are the responsibility of the customer.

4) Return and Exchange Policy (Effective Date 11/10/2003)
15 Day Return Policy

RussArmy.com has a very fair but firm return policy. Watches that are Brand New (never worn, no signs of wear) can be returned for credit up to 15 days from the date of purchase.
We do not sell used watches and will not accept returns or exchanges that show any signs of wear. Under no circumstances will a used watch be eligible for a refund. All returns must have a return authorization number. A return authorization number does not guarantee a refund. There is a restocking fee of only of five dollars per item if you request a return authorization number via RussArmy.com web form. If you prefer to call for a return authorization number the fee will be ten dollars. Watches that are returned without a return authorization number will be assessed a restocking fee of ten dollars and may be refused at our option. If you exchange the watch for one of equal or greater value, the restocking fee usually will be waived. If you decide to return the watch do not forget to return the instruction manuals, warranty, and gift box. Please note that the delivery charges are non-refundable. All returned watches must be shipped in corrugated boxes only, paper envelopes will not be accepted!! RussArmy.com offers free shipping on purchases of two or more watches. In the event one or more watches are returned we reserve the right to apply shipping charges to the customer's credit at the amount of equal to UPS ground rate. 
Please address your package in a similar format. Beware of any dot.com company that does not have a similar return policy.

Please note that Registered mail is not a guaranteed service and a tracer for lost packages can not be started until 60 days after date of shipment.

Freight charges are non-refundable. It is customers responsibility to ship the watch back to us via a traceable method such as UPS, FedEx etc. Do not forget to insure the watch for the amount of the credit you are expecting. Once we get your package we will email you that we have received it. There are some exceptions to the above stated policy. In those cases, we will assess the return policy on an individual basis in writing.
Brand new defective watches should be sent back to RussArmy.com for rapid service. Used defective watches should always be sent to the appropriate service center on your warranty. Do not send them to RussArmy.com as it will delay your repair and will be sent back to you.

5) Exchanges

Brand new (never worn, no signs of wear) can be exchanged within 15 days from the date of purchase. Please return the watch with a note requesting which watch you would like to exchange it for and what shipping option you require. Once we get your package we will email you that we have received it. The restocking fee will be waived if the exchange watch is equal to or greater than the original watch purchased. We will contact you via telephone for your credit card information to credit or debit for the difference of the exchange and for whatever freight options you chose. You do not need to contact customer service for exchanges but please mark exchange on the package. RussArmy.com is not responsible for products we do not receive or products damaged in shipping. Do not forget to insure the watch for the amount of the credit you are expecting. Please note that Registered mail is not a guaranteed service and a tracer for lost packages can not be started until 60 days after date of shipment. Please address your package in a similar format

6) Watch Warranty Information

Your purchase is warranted by the manufacturer of Russian Military Watches -"Vostok" against defective parts and workmanship. Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, and scratches to the case, band or crystal are not considered to be defective by most manufacturers' warranty agreements. Please refer to your warranty agreement enclosed with your merchandise for specifics.
Before returning the product to the Russian Military Watch manufacturer, we recommend contacting us directly via website to obtain specific return instructions.

7) Used Defective Watches

Must be sent to the address on the warranty card only. Watches sent back to RussArmy.com, instead of directly to the address shown on the warranty card will be assessed a $10 service charge that will be billed to your credit card on record. If there are any doubts as to where to send the watch please e-mail RussArmy.com for instructions. Please enclose a money order in the amount of $9.00 for the freight out to you via UPS ground.

8) Brand New Defective Watches
(never worn, no signs of wear)

Can be sent back to RussArmy.com within 15 days for rapid replacement. We hope this never happens but if it does please send the watch to RussArmy.com the least expensive way you can. The freight charges to RussArmy.com are refundable and freight out back to you is on us. Please mark the package in a similar format

9) Other Policies Wrong Items Sent

We hope this never happens but if it does we want to make it right. If you wish to have us arrange to pickup the item please complete this shipping request form and we will send a call tag to have the watch picked up at our expense. Please explain what has happened. We will then contact you to have the correct watch sent out. We cannot reimburse shipping cost if you decide not to let us correct the problem. Do not request a call tag if you only intend to return the item. See above regarding how to return a watch.

10) Lost Shipments

Sometimes when a shipment leaves the warehouse of RussArmy.com it gets lost or stolen. In these situations we will put in a claim with the carrier and reship the item once the carrier accepts the claim. If this happens to your shipment understand it is our problem until you sign for the package. You will not ever be out any money for an item that you have not received.

11) Sales Tax Policy

RussArmy.com, is not required by law to charge sales tax outside New York state, therefore there is no sales tax for orders delivered outside New York states.

Shopping at RussArmy.com is safe, secure and private. We make every effort to protect your online order information by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.
Having and using a credit card is not an entirely safe enterprise altogether. How well preserved is your personal and financial information that you entrust us with? These concerns you may have are fully legitimate and wise. As an answer, consider the following three types of guarantees we feel obliged to offer you.
